Shakespeare’s finest play is given a wild makeover by award-winning Artistic Director Miles Gregory

Dancing sailors, identical twins, love-sick chemists, shipwrecks and swordfights: are you ready for the madness of Twelfth Night at Pop-up Globe?

This all-singing, all-dancing production takes the energy of Jean Paul Gaultier and mixes it with a love-sick dose of pure madness to transform Shakespeare’s hilarious comedy into a wild romp that will have you dancing in the aisles and singing all the way home.

The last time Pop-up Globe staged Twelfth Night, over 30,000 people packed the Pop-up Globe in a twice-extended, sell-out run that was the talk of the city.

This new production gives Shakespeare’s finest play a wild makeover, courtesy of Pop-up Globe’s multi-award-winning creative team led by Miles Gregory, including extraordinary and eclectic designs by Bob Capocci and a new score by NZ music legend Paul McLaney.

With a strictly limited season of just twelve evening performances, we recommend booking early for this production to avoid disappointment.
