Join Award-winning singer/songwriter Uke'n Annie (aka Anna van Riel) and friends this September 13th for a night of ukulele goodness.

With special guests Ukes of Howick, and Gill Benthem-Leach the night will showcase the talents of Howick and share their passion for the ukulele.

ALL ABOUT THE SHOW!
Doors open at 7pm with the show kicking off with the towns own 'Ukes of Howick', followed by a debut performance by Gill Betham-Leach.

Audience can look forward to Deep South NZ's guest artist Uke'n Annie, who will share a collection of quirky cabaret songs and stories from her travels around the globe.
This part of the show also includes an exciting showcase of the work done in Uke'n Annie's 6pm bluegrass ukulele and harmonies workshop.
(Tickets sold separately here. Please note: discounted rate for workshop & concert).

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP!
Nominated Best NZ Country Album and two-time Best Children's Artist at the NZ Music Awards, as well as multiple awards and nominations internationally, Uke'n Annie brings the good folk of Howick some of her hot tips around performance & songwriting.
Participants will learn bluegrass number 'Too Strong Daddy' from Uke'n Annie's Whistle & Hum album and actively work through the tools on what makes for a rockin' bluegrass ditty.
Workshops members attending the evening concert will also be invited to join Uke'n Annie on the stage to showcase the achievements of their hard work.
