Selwyn Community Education is based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland.
Please note: This workshop is held in Papakura at Voodoo Molly HQ.
Presenter: Antonia Marino.
Over the course of 6 hours you will upholster a footstool from scratch, which you'll then take home with you. That may seem like a simple project but the skills you'll learn will form the basic structure for most other upholstery projects.
The main focus of the day is to introduce you to upholstery equipment; teach fundamental techniques and to build confidence. Upholstery takes practice and patience, but with a few essential skills under your belt, it'll get easier with each project you do.
The footstool frame and upholstery supplies will be provided; you just need to bring the fabric to customise your creation. Details provided upon enrolment.
Numbers are limited on this course so please book early.
