Wellington City Council would like to understand urban accessibility issues faced by the access community.

We want to hear from people with a disability, temporary impairment, seniors/older people, parents with pushchairs, and anyone else who may benefit from improved accessibility in the built environment.

The feedback can be used for future projects across the city with the aim of making the city accessible to all.

Meet us at Glover Park, but the aim is for participants to pass through the Garrett Street and Swan Lane area and then tell us their thoughts.

We would like feedback on the top accessibility problems experienced in these areas/streets. Please make your way along these streets and then tell us the top issues you experienced and any ideas you have for improving accessibility.

Council staff will be located at a stall in Glover Park by Garrett Street to provide maps, instructions, assistance and feedback forms to fill in if needed. This event is in line with Council’s commitment to making Wellington more accessible.

Note – Please bring assistance person or anything that would normally help you in navigating the city. (We want you to experience the street the same as you would any other day.)
