It is with great pleasure that Geoffrey T Sowman Funeral Directors presents Vera Lynn: Hits of the Blitz, starring Vicki Lee and featuring the Marlborough District Brass Band.
Vicki has been entertaining audiences for over 40 years.
Vicki’s talent and versatility made her sought after by entertainers such as the late Sir Howard Morrison, who enjoyed her ability to spontaneously follow his often unrehearsed lead on her multi instrumental keyboard.
She subsequently toured the country and internationally with him on numerous occasions. Vicki has also had the privilege of working with and accompanying Dame Malvina Major on many of her memorable tours.
Hits of the Blitz is a community fundraiser event for Alzheimer’s Marlborough, Marlborough RSA, The Garrison and Marlborough District Brass Band. The evening will start with a very special announcement and presentation by the Marlborough Civic Theatre Trust.
