Discover all that is on offer at this year’s Waikato Show starting Friday 5th through to Sunday 7th April. With over 15 expos available, the show prides itself in being a showcase of all the Mighty Waikato has to offer.

New to this year’s show is a change in layout. With our visitors in mind, we’ve made it easier to get around, giving you a chance to make a day of it by going through the expo’s at your leisure!

If you’re looking to decorate, renovate or build, the HomeXPO has you covered. Homegrown Harvest celebrates locally produced food, with a demo kitchen, artisan food market and annual food competition.

Another new addition is 50+ and Loving it, a celebration for the fifty-plus age, sure to be full of laughs, dancing and even learning a new thing or two. Te Papanui – Earth Matters focuses on sustainable living and action in our community. The Youth Expo returns this year, allowing young entrepreneurs to network, collaborate and display their new ideas.

Discover the amazing health and wellbeing products, services and organisations available at the Wellbeing Show. Lifelong Learning, a new expo, offers various community programmes such as arts, language, re-training, apprenticeships and more. If your looking for a new club or hobby, check out the Clubs & Creativity Showcase in Hall A, with loads of performances and demos all weekend.

The Alpaca Colourbration brings in around 200 alpacas to be judged with a supreme awarded in each colour group. The Animal Expo showcases a wide variety of pet breeders, manufactures, importers, nutrition and more. And you’ll want to check out all the animals at the Farmyard, including sheep, donkeys, pigs, goats, rabbits and more!

Appreciate numerous flavours and diverse cultures of the world all found at the Cultural Village. Alongside this is Live on the Lawn featuring an open-air stage with performances from local fresh-faced talent and show favourites. The Safety Expo provides an experience for families to explore and interact in real- life safety activities.

This year’s show is also excited to host the Waikato Show Woodchopping Competition, bringing in both men and women from around the country, a spectacle you won’t want to miss.

The Waikato Show, you’ve got to go! We have special Early Bird pricing until Friday 5th April at 6pm, with Adults at Child's prices.
