When the vegator is involved its going to be one awesome planting event and everyone is welcome to join in.

park at shooters golf range and wander up to the planting site alongside wairakei drive.

Bring your gumboots gardening gloves & spades, please bring suitable wet weather gear if required as we will be planting rain or shine

Greening Taupo's vision is to work with businesses, organisations, schools and the community to improve and restore the Taupo environment for people and the native wildlife.

With the funds raised by Shawn's amazing effort within the King of the Ring Shawn’s vision is to use this money to replant the Wairakei Corridor (wairakei drive) with planting more bird attracting species and to enhance the scenic qualities as well as the ecological values of the area with a mixture of native plantings. Awesome!
