Come and celebrate Waitangi Day in The Square from 9am – 2pm.
Rangitāne will open the day with an official Civic Ceremony and Flag Raising at The Cenotaph from 9am. Then from 10am, The Square will come alive with food trucks, stalls, live music from Ripple Effect, Common Unity, Jimmy and the Jets, an amazing Kapa Haka performed by the students from Hato Paora and a few of the Harlem Globetrotters will even stop by to shoot some hoops!
Hosted by Damien ‘Dfresh’ McGregor and wife, Angela McGregor, this is a day you do not want to miss, so make sure you’re in The Square this Waitangi Day!
