Waiuku Rotary Sunset Coast Walk

The Awhitu Peninsula, from Waiuku to The Heads, is an area of outstanding scenic beauty. The Rotary Club of Waiuku's annual fun walk can be of approx' 5km,7km,8km or 11km's- you choose. The one fee covers all. The walking track will allow a large number of people to enjoy the views and tranquility and at the same time help raise funds for local Projects.

The walk is on farm tracks and may cross minor roads. These and the Cliff-top (even though fenced and patrolled) are potential hazards so children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

We regret that no dogs are permitted on this walk.

Entry cost is: -Adults $20, College Students $10, Primary School and younger are free.
Soft drinks and a Sausage sizzle will be provided after the walk and you will receive a Certificate of Achievement.

There are also plenty of pleasant areas where a picnic lunch can be enjoyed. We'd like to see you there, so get a gang of friends together and make your way to Waiuku and enjoy our hospitality.
