Bethany is the Queen of Resourcefulness.

About the show:

In her quirky storytelling solo show, Bethany opens up about her tips, tricks and the frightful lengths she's gone to save money, food... well anything and everything really. It’s a hot handy hack guide for all, a celebration of weird uniqueness, and a microscope into hoarding.

This will be the third mini season, after a successful award-nominated debut at NZ Fringe 2019, followed by Dunedin Fringe 2019. We are very excited to bring the show to Ōtautahi, as part of the Little Andromeda festival!

"It is more than enjoyable, and well worth a watch." - Art Murmurs

"Such a wholesome and infectiously good time." - Audience Feedback

"This is easily one of the bets Fringe shows this year." - Audience Feedback (at NZ Fringe)

"The resourcefulness queen." - Theatreview

Our kaupapa is to create relevant, uplifting and inclusive art that raises awareness, empowers, and liberates.

Toi Ngākau Productions was launched at the start of 2019 and we have so far produced the all-women cast/crew short film “The Girls”, a twice sold out BATS season of the play “Running Late”, and now three mini seasons of “Waste Not Want Not: Bethany’s Guide to the Thrift Life”!
