Welcome Swallow Gallery Opening & Exhibition Celebration

Grand opening of the Welcome Swallow Gallery and the exhibition "Celebration" Wednesday 1st May 2019. Drinks and canapes serves 5.30pm - 7.30pm on the 1st May.

Fourteen highly creative artists will share their eighty pieces of art work in the exhibition. They include landscapes, portraits, fauna and flora. An eclectic range of artistic styles including still life, modern, abstract, surreal and realism. Two powerful installations are also included. One called "Tears of Remembrance" and two sculptural pieces.

There is a mix of mediums from watercolours to acrylics and oils, ceramics, conte and charcoal, graphites and prints.

The exhibition can be seen as a true 'celebration' of the collective quality and creative energy of the artists.

The majority of art work is for sale and all profits to the Gallery will support children in need in the Waikato region.
