We’re saying cheers to 40 years of Mary Potter Hospice! Be a sport and join us for Wellington Good Sports.

Wellington Good Sports is a fundraising evening at Harbourside Function Centre for Mary Potter Hospice. It’s set to be a fun night out with sporting legends, local brewers and top-notch auction items.

We’re calling on Mary Potter Hospice fans and supporters to gather their good sports – loved ones, friends, or colleagues, and join us at this unique and unmissable event.

Iconic sports commentators Keith Quinn, Grant Nisbett and Barry Guy will share their famed commentary box banter, reminisce on their favourite sporting moments, and interview local sporting personalities. You’ll meet and mingle with Wellington’s best from the sporting arena. Plus legendary sports photographer Dave Lintott will be there to provide a more sophisticated take on the selfie.

The charity auction includes a round of golf with Christian Cullen, a commentary box experience with Grant Nisbett, a return trip to Fiji and more.

Pair the night’s fare of carved ham, home-style sides and snacks with a brew for good. Local breweries Double Vision, Fortune Favours and Boneface Brewing have each crafted a ‘Hospice Hops’ beer to be sold on the night. You’ll get the chance to chat with the brewers, try each beer, and vote for your favourite.

With great food, beer (and some classy wines too), all alongside Wellington’s good sports – this is an event you don’t want to miss.

All proceeds from Wellington Good Sports will help raise vital funds to keep Mary Potter Hospice’s services free for those who need us in Wellington, Porirua and Kāpiti.

Tickets are $85 (+ Eventbrite admin fee)

Thanks for your support!
