A midday treat for the senses – listen to the intimately gorgeous vocals of April Phillips while enjoying a glass of wine and get blissfully lost in one of the most beautiful and expansive views in Wellington.

Nelson Jazz Fest Review 2008 - "April Phillips has a voice of honey."

Tauranga Jazz Festival Review 2008 - "Vocalist April Phillips was equally outstanding; understated, with a strong modulated-voice… her cover of ‘Nature Boy’ was the best live version I have ever heard. Phillip’s version of ‘Boulevard of Broken Dreams’ was also breath-taking..."

April is well known to Wellington audiences as a producer of, and performer in, many musical shows including the Stellar Award winning “Blue Eyes – the music of Frank Sinatra” at Circa Theatre. She sang the songs of Nat King Cole in “Unforgettable” at Old St Pauls where she also brought you “The Glory of Gershwin” for the Wellington Jazz Festival 2016. More recently she’s been singing with “The Retro Pack” and the “Crooners & Swooners” act with vocalist/saxophonist James Tait-Jamieson.

Enjoy cake and coffee or a divine gelato, or this venue’s special offer of a cider/wine & cheese platter for $40.

April performs at Cable Top Eatery courtesy of The Vocal Wing.

Tunes with a view! At the top of the Cable Car in Kelburn, take in the beauty of the Botanic Gardens, Wellington’s skyline and expansive harbour. Sit back and listen to gorgeous live music while enjoying divine food, wine, coffee and gelato with quite possibly the best views in town.
