OddJive - Originally from Christchurch, OddJive has made Wellington their home bringing a mix of funk rock, soul and progressive jams bought to a new height with the addition of vocalist Taylor Barker. Come funk out.
Mavericks - NZ - Energetic dance rock, Mavericks come to us with a new EP. With the unusual addition if a keyboard bass, Mavericks are loud, groovy with a catchy pop sensibility. Always a blast live.
HEX - Witch post-punk band Hex are very special to Wellington Rocks. They were the first band budding reporter Aimee Eastwood ever did a story on and were the first band to ever be interviewed on the podcast. Catch the haunting dark indie sounds of this very special band.
Eight Eyed Orchid - Progressive metal Eight Eyed Orchid are exactly the kind of band Wellington Rocks tries to get on top of early. Excellent musicianship, complex clever arrangements, grinding riffs and shifting time signatures, EEO is not a band for fans of heavy alternative to miss.
