You've seen news coverage about unrest in their homeland, now hear about it first hand. Manawatū Standard and Palmerston North City Library host 'What's Happening at Home' as part of the Festival of Cultures.
Immigrants and refugees now living in Manawatū present a short talk about political and social upheaval in their home nations, how it has changed since their arrival in NewZealand, and how they stay connected.
Speakers include; Mario Alayon-Marichal from Venezuela and Tammam Tamim (Palestinian) from Syria.
