Who the Folk is that?! is a showcase series of young up and coming folk musicians in Wellington. This concert features the sounds of Isaac Chamberlain, Connor Moore, and Seamus Johnson.
Isaac Chamberlain is a Dunedin raised, Wellington based musician. More commonly found playing guitar with the Poquito House Band. This solo performance will highlight his rough and steady acoustic style. Accompanied by his guitar Isaac Chamberlain will remind you of the folk singers from the wild west and appalachian mountains. Perhaps even an old time fiddle tune to pick on his guitar.
Connor Moore is a singer-songwriter originally from Wanaka and is now based in Wellington. With a voice like honey and lime, her honest lyrical content and genuine nature allows her audience to relate and reminisce with songs that are timeless. Connor will transfix you with her pure and mesmerising voice, capturing the essence of what it is to be human
Seamus Johnson of Sea Mouse will be playing acoustic renditions of Sea Mouse songs, delta blues covers and more.
This is a night of great folk music not to be missed!
