Wolfgang Michael is a German Indie Folk Artist born and raised in the little German city Würzburg. Greatly influenced by living and performing in Germany’s vibrant capital Berlin, he released his debut record "My River Down the Lane“ in 2016. One of his songs “Rustling Trees” quickly gained worldwide attention and has been streamed nearly 300.000 times in just a few months.
Inspired by traveling and the beautiful scenery of nature Wolfgang Michael combines stripped-down, mostly melancholic acoustic folk with vintage ambiance sounds and percussive elements to create songs with his unique fingerprint.
