A fun and practical jewellery workshop, open to beginners and more advanced students!
Learn the basics of working with silver, copper and brass; forming, heating, soldering and polishing to create beautiful and well made jewellery. Those with more experience can extend their knowledge of soldering processes, creating pieces with multiple parts, and making your own jewellery findings.
Workspace Studios are also happy to help with existing projects for those who have a jewellery workshop at home.
This class will be held at CAN’s workshop, on Saturday 2 November from 10am til 4pm sharp, and on Sunday 3 November from 10am til 1pm.
Day one will cover workshop safety and the techniques needed. Then students can choose from a variety of practical projects based on their level of experience. We will get our projects mostly completed on the Saturday, with the three hours on Sunday to refine, clean up and polish your jewellery.
Class fee includes basic materials, with more able to be purchased. If you have experience and are interested in a specific technique or assistance with a project, please let us know in your booking so that we can check in with you about it.
