To mark the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, a short memorial event will be held in Orewa. This will involve poems, readings and the switching on of the Norfolk Pine tree lights which light up each summer in memory of those killed and injured on our roads.
Families who have been bereaved or injured in crashes, emergency services and road safety professionals, support organisations and anyone else who wishes to remember those killed and injured on roads are invited to attend.
Please RSVP via Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/events/1076007002744505/ - or to info@brake.org.nz so that we have an idea of numbers.
Posters and flyers are available from Brake. If you would like some to help promote the event please contact us.
