It's 1986 in the back blocks of Nelson and a family feud is fermenting... Again. Before the region was known for its sharp sauvignons and poignant pinots, it was the site of a dramatic war over the future of a burgeoning industry. There was intrigue, romance, betrayal and booze. This is "Wynasty" (not to be confused with the hit show "Dynasty" which is obviously entirely and completely different) season two.

Featuring a star-studded cast of characters, all bent on each others' downfall, Wynasty depicts the fortunes and calamities of the mysterious Neudorf family. Each one of them has only one thing on their mind - power ... and wine ... and seduction. At Studio One in November and December, tune in for emotionally-charged, grapey-angst at its overly-dramatic best. Follow along the entirely improvised, hilariously serialised, live action soap opera that depicts a moment in time, when wine was king and revenge was aged in oak barrels before bottling. Enjoy ... at room temperature.
Did we mention we make it all up on the spot?

Wynasty Season One was the first improvised soap opera of The People's Republic of Improv at the end of 2018, and we are bringing it back, like a vintage wine. We know Nelson has missed the angst of Porter Neurdorf and his family, Sherry, Bailey and Corky. And let's not forget about the Shiraz branch of the fam: Chaz, Genevieve and Brandy. And was it Ted, Ned or Fred Aspic who kept being murdered off? Anyway, we're excited to tell a whole new story with these characters and new ones! So if you saw them a year ago... great! And if you didn't.... even better!

(*No previous knowledge needed, just a firm love for alcohol related puns and a hunger for 1980s hilarious melodrama.)

The story continues each Friday and spans 4 weeks (November 22, 29 & December 6 & 13).
