Come together on the Full Moon on October 31 to participate in and enjoy the vibrational energy from chanting 108 Oms. Om (aum) is the original sound of the first echo when the universe was created (universal sound) and is often used at the beginning and end of a yoga class. The number 108 has long been considered a sacred number in Hinduism - yoga malas, or prayer beads, come as a string of 108 beads. The vibrational energy from chanting 108 oms is amazing. We will start with some breathing exercises and finish with stillness. Bring your cushion, a blanket, eye pillow if you have one, your voice, good vibes and a friend. If you have mala beads, bring them along – I do have some for sale – beautiful Sandalwood mala - $31 or Sun and Moon malas - $85. See below for more info.
There are two Full Moons in October, the first being the Harvest Moon on Oct 1, the second is the Hunter's Moon (Blue Moon) on Oct 31 (Halloween).
