Being eighteen years old isn’t for the fainthearted. 18X18 delves into the perspectives of eighteen Auckland girls on the brink of adulthood. It charts their turbulent, exciting and daunting experiences, and paints a portrait that reveals some of the most pressing issues facing teenage girls today. Through its honest, gritty and heartfelt storytelling, the exhibition celebrates and challenges the stereotypes of 'young people these days.'
