This small group guided 2 day trip from Auckland will take you to a trilogy of epic sights. Some of the best that the North Island offers is available on this overnight tour. First stop is the famous Hobbiton Movie Set, then a full afternoon in Rotorua, NZ’s geothermal & cultural capital. Choose your own adventure for the afternoon in Rotorua, we’ll take you on a city tour so you can check out the options! This evening we’ll head across country to the King country, home to the famous glow worm caves and our accommodation for the night. A hearty meal is on offer and comfy accommodation in our new cabins. Day two starts with breakfast and a short tour of the Waitomo Village. Make the most of your visit by choosing one of our epic cave tours. Options include the Ruakuri Cave Tour, Glow Worm Cave Tour ....or both! Afterwards, a visit to the spectacular Marokopa Falls & Natural Rock Bridge means you’ll have seen the best Waitomo sights. Afterwards, we return to Auckland for evening drop-offs. Estimated return time to Auckland is 6.45pm.
