Sarah Judd takes on the role of Alice, a troubled girl, in this psychological horror.

Alice’s claustrophobic world is a black and white film turning slowly into a nightmare. Her reclusive grandfather has died, her mother needs her support, and the bullying at school is getting steadily worse. Suffering from the results of a bizarre and difficult upbringing, Alice struggles to overcome her introversion by confiding in her only friend, Sarah, and the audience. When Sarah betrays her, it’s the final thing pushing Alice towards an unspeakable revenge.

This revival season of A Collection of Noises is to raise money to send Sarah to perform at Shakespeare’s Globe, London, as a member of SGCNZ YSC 2021.

Performed by Sarah Judd
Written/directed/produced by Alexander Sparrow

Sarah Clare Judd is travelling to Shakespeare’s Globe in London as a member of the 2021 Shakespeare Globe Centre New Zealand Young Shakespeare Company (SGCNZ YSC). She was selected after directing and performing in a scene for the Manawatū-Whanganui regional SGCNZ University of Otago Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival (SGCNZ UOSWSF). Her scene was selected for the National SGCNZ UOSWSF. From 5,500 students nationwide, she was then chosen as one of 46 students to participate in SGCNZ’s National Shakespeare School Production (SGCNZ NSSP). She is also a trained singer, teacher and musical director. Next year Sarah is moving to Christchurch to complete a bachelor of performing arts at the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts.
