AKL Heritage Festival: An Illustrated Talk By Allan Matson

An illustrated talk by Allan Matson: Auckland's early buildings.

Heritage consultant Allan Matson will share stories about early Auckland buildings and the people who designed, built and inhabited them. His illustrated talk will show heritage that has been lost, and outline protections in place to preserve our remaining heritage for future generations.

Allan is a past member of Auckland Council's Heritage Advisory Panel and of the New Zealand Historic Places Trust. Since 2011 he has been the President of Civic Trust Auckland, a heritage and environmental organisation established in 1968.
