Alexandra Basin Wine Growers have been showcasing their New Release Wine’s on Labour Weekend Sunday at Oliver’s Gardens in Clyde, Central Otago and we’d love to have you join us for this, our 12th New Release Tasting event!

Grapes grown in the unique Alexandra Basin climate survive New Zealand’s Hottest, Driest Summers and Coldest Winters which produce fantastic Wines!

This unique New Release Tasting allows you to meet the vineyard owners, chat with the winemakers and of course sample wines from over 15 vineyards…all whilst enjoying the complementary cheese, crackers & bread and live music within the tranquil gardens of historic Olivers, Clyde.

This year we are very excited to have as our special guest, Candice Chow a sommelier and self-claimed Wine addict from Queentstown.

Candice has her own company Candice Wine Chat and recently Candice has re-instated Raymond Chan Wine Review, continuing the legacy of Raymond.

Ticket’s $30.00 each, there is no extra charges for wine tasting

Guests receive a free tasting glass and booklet with information about each vineyard and the wine they are presenting.
Take home bottle sales are available and a prize for the most wine-inspired outfit.
Complementary made cheese, crackers & bread, live music, seating in the tranquil Oliver’s gardens and presentation by our special guest Candice Chow all adds to make this a pleasurable - not to be missed - event!
