Alpine Toastmasters Open NIght

We are having an open night! If you have ever wondered what exactly toastmasters is now is your chance to come along and see what it is all about!

Open night is a special night at Alpine Toastmasters where we show you what we are all about, you will be treated to some speeches from our members new and old and given the chance to join us at having a go at some table topics!

At Alpine Toastmasters Timaru we provide a supportive & positive learning experience which will help encourage you on your learning journey no matter what your goals might be. Toastmasters can help you to gain new skills in public speaking but can also help you develop leadership skills and confidence.

You will find a supportive learn-by-doing environment at Alpine, that allows you to achieve your goals at your own pace. Toastmasters skills can be applied in many real situations, such as introducing yourself, giving celebration speeches, getting your point across at work meetings and how to engage with people more easily.

We meet every second Tuesday at the South Cosmopolitan Club. Please arrive at 6:50pm as our meetings begin at 7pm and run until 9pm.

The meeting is open to everyone over 18 and the only thing to bring with you is a smile and a 'can do' positive attitude! Come along and see what we are all about, learn new skills, meet new people and enjoy our toastmasters community.
