Amble: Disrupting - Disrupting Car Dominance

A convoy of humans disrupting the conventions of Hamilton road users.

Starting at The Grandstand at Claudelands Park, the motley crew of festively emblazoned wheeled disruptors will proceed via a series of unexpected stops to arrive at Garden Place for $5 mocktails and entertainment from Hamilton's Unsung Heroes.

We invite you to amble with walkers, wheelchairs, skateboarders, scooter-ists, cyclists or take a bus!

Although the route is secret until the start of the event, the route uses examples of good (and bad) personal transport infrastructure, includes a panel discusion about safe urban connectivity, photo stops and disruptively polite and friendly interactions with other road users.

Accessibility
Inclusion is important and accessibility is provided for those who want to be conveyed via rickshaw. All locations are within 100 metres from a bus stop. Toilet facilities are at the start, middle and end locations. A trailing motor vehicle has first aid kit and cycle transport should a rider need to retire.
