Join us for a special evening in the Shire™ with Westpac Ambassador Sir John Kirwan, raising funds to support mental wellbeing for school students and the rural community in the mighty Waikato through the Sir John Kirwan Foundation.
Sir John Kirwan (JK) is one of New Zealand’s favourite former All Blacks. He played for the national team for a decade and holds the New Zealand record for most first-class rugby tries.
Since retiring from the professional sport he has shared his personal story of depression, resilience and hope. His journey has led him to active involvement with mental health awareness campaigns in New Zealand where he speaks openly about his battle.
At this special event, JK will share his story and dedication to removing the stigma that surrounds mental health in New Zealand, followed by an evening in the Shire full of food and cheer in support of this worthy cause.
John Kirwan’s visit is supported by Westpac. Profits from this event will be donated to the Sir John Kirwan Foundation.
