Archaeological display: 107 Wharf Street

"In 2015 the development of 107 Wharf Street triggered an archaeological investigation that has allowed the layers of the past to be scientifically recorded and artefacts collected through excavation.

Visit Tauranga City Library and see archaeological finds that illustrate fascinating phases of the town’s history from Maori to British Imperial troops to colonial settlement. It even has a well-known local photographer in mix!
