Join Taranaki artist Dale Copeland MNZM in an assemblage art workshop, running this weekend at the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery.
Her work currently features as part of the Ruth Buchanan: The scene in which I find myself/Or, where does my body belong exhibition, which runs until 29th March.
Not only a talented mixed-media artist, Copeland has also been a mathematician, teacher, physicist and computer programmer.
A member of regional artist collective Virtual TART, she has previously featured at Puke Ariki, The Dowse Art Museum, the Gisborne Museum and Arts Centre, Massey University, the James Wallace Art Trust and the Lessedra International Art Collection.
Grab your chance to hear from our guest artist this Saturday, 21st March, before taking part in a hands-on workshop.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a small box of their personal found treasures or belongings, which will be used to create their own, unique assemblage art piece.
