Auckland Writers Festival: CANCELLED

Auckland Writers Festival, Waituhi o Tāmaki, celebrates its 20th event in 2020 with a star-studded literary line-up.

Over 230 of the very best local and international writers and thinkers will deliver six sensational days of talks, panel discussions and events to audiences of all ages, from 12-17 May.

Internationally recognised as one of the largest and most respected literary showcases on the planet, and certainly one of the most hotly-anticipated events in Tāmaki Makarau, the festival drew a record 83,000 people last year.

An adventure for the mind, the Auckland Writers Festival sparks thought, dialogue and ideas about some of the most popular and pressing issues of our time.
