Audition - The Long Weekend

Audition for "The Long Weekend" at Dolphin Theatre. Please note Dolphin is a community theatre so this is unpaid.

The Play
Max and Wynn are about to show off their beautiful new country home to their best friends, Roger and Abby, but it doesn’t take long to uncover the true feelings behind this long friendship. What is meant to be a relaxing holiday turns into a battle of wits as their pasts catch up with them, the gloves come off and old scores get settled in comedic fashion. A hilariously tangled web of truths, deception and surprises leaves the audience guessing – and laughing – all the way to the final curtain!

Characters
Ages are an indication of character age only. Mid-American or Canadian accent is preferred.

MAX: a self assured, successful lawyer (mid 30’s to 50)
WYNN: a know-it-all, psychologist & radio self-help personality (mid-30’s to 50)
ABBY: a free-spirited, fabric store owner (mid 30’s to 50)
ROGER: a neurotic, math teacher turned struggling writer (mid-30’s to 50)

Rehearsals: Tuesdays & Thursdays 7.30 pm – 10pm
& Sunday afternoons or early evening (TBC)
