Update:
A message from Austen Found creator & star, Penny Ashton, to the delightful citizens of New Zealandshire:

It is with much sense and sensibility that Lori, Robbie, Ross and myself have been persuaded by current lamentable events to cancel the theatrical marvel that is Austen Found. We were immensely proud and not prejudiced towards it, and were most excited at the prospect of flashing it to you all over the countryside after so much rehearsal. Lori even had a new dress made and it is with great devastation that it must remain hanging, single and alone on the shelf… But like a stallion spurred on by a man in jodhpurs, we shall rear up again and flash anew. And we shall all have a ball!

Felicitations and sanitations to you and your families.

Penny Ashton, Austen Found

Addicted to Darcy? Lost all Sense and Sensibility? Bonkers for Big Balls? Well put down your cross-stitching and join Penny Ashton, Lori Dungey and Robbie Ellis, as they swoon, romp, and pianoforte their way through an entirely improvised Austenian Musical.

Charming suitors, meddlesome mothers, tight breeches and surprisingly well educated girls will all paint a vivid picture in song, dance and passionate hand holding.

Arts on Tour favourite Penny Ashton (Olive Copperbottom, Promise and Promiscuity, Hot Pink Bits) is back, with her most excellently accomplished friends! World Famous hobbit Lori Dungey (Lord of the Rings, Xena, Hercules, Master of the Improv Universe) and melodical Chicago based musical maestro Robbie Ellis (Second City, Radio NZ Concert, University of Otago Mozart Fellow, NZSO) will use your suggestions and spin instant literary magic as they swoon, romp and pianoforte.
