Barfoot & Thompson Murrays Bay Wharf Birdman Festival 2020

14th of March 2020, make sure you mark this date in your calendar as it is all happening once more!
The Barfoot & Thompson Murrays Bay Wharf Birdman Festival 2020 will see thousands of people flock again to this small North Shore beach to see Birdmen and Birdwomen take a leap from an extended height, placed at the end of the Murrays Bay wharf, aiming to win the Ultimate Birdman Trophy.

Birdman events are full of fun, splashes, spills and thrills. Birdmen and Birdwomen will excite the crowd when they come dressed to impress and strut their wings while performing a dance or routine to the sound of their themed song before flying or plunging into the sea.

Be quick to register as an individual or as a team!

There are prizes for:
- Ultimate Flying Challenge - the longest distance
- Fibers and Feathers - must use natural materials and fibers
- Most Creative – build up or dance recommended
- Best Team
- Battle of the Schools – one student team per High School

- Entry forms to be completed & returned with payment by 6th of March 2020
- Entry Fee is $20
- Entries are limited so be quick – it will sell out!

The Birdman Festival, from 10:30AM:
This will be a fun-filled day of Birdman action, live music, food stalls, sausage sizzles, drinks etc.
There are opportunities for those wishing to have stalls at the festival event. Stall sites are just $95 per site for the day.

Programme of events:
10.30am - Entertainment; 12.00pm Children’s & Birdman Parade followed by the Birdman Jump 1.30pm - Birdman Prizegiving followed on by more food, fun and entertainment

Event closes at 3.00pm.
