Beach Bliss Women's Retreat

Women's weekend retreat - Friday to Sunday. Celebrate the change of season with summer on the way and come to beautiful Waimarama Beach, Hawke’s Bay. Spend the weekend at a stylish beach lodge that exudes comfort with an intimate group of women (6- 8) who are keen to meet new people and share good times.

Friday
Arrive late afternoon and relax in front of a roaring fire with a complimentary glass of wine – either inside or outside depending on the weather. Go for a stroll on the expanse of golden sand. Over a casual evening meal, get to know your weekend house mates.

Saturday
A gentle yoga session with Ann Michelle starts your day. A quick stroll on the beach if you choose and then join noted author Charity Norman. Charity has just released a new book – The Secrets of Strangers. Read a copy ahead of the weekend and gain insights into how it came about while chatting with Charity over coffee.

The afternoon will see you busy under the guidance of artist Mary Sullivan to create your own scented candles. We’ll have cute vintage containers on hand, or you can purchase from Mary.

Late afternoon is yours to indulge yourself how you choose. A beach stroll, a hike up the hill, a soak in the spa pool, or retire to your room for a read or nap. We can organise a massage for you. (This must be pre-booked.)

Join us and our guest chef, Bert van de Steeg. With a complimentary glass of wine and canapes, watch how your two-course dinner of Hawke’s Bay bounty is prepared and ask all the foodie questions you’ve always wanted to ask.

Sunday
Lie in or energise the day with a brisk beach walk to build an appetite for breakfast.

Then share the delights of the Hawke’s Bay Arts Trail visiting the studios of selected accomplished artists where you can chat to learn more about what inspires their work.

Cap off the weekend with a wine tasting (if you choose) then a late, lazy lunch at a local vineyard.
