Ben Hurley’s wraps up his 'Straight-Out-Of-Lockdown' Tour where it began - at The Classic
Bringing NZ’s live entertainment venues back!
Pre-bookings highly recommended
Ben Hurley has teamed up with the Save Our Venues campaign and announced a tour covering many of the smaller venues around the country. With many venues doing it tough throughout the lock-down, Ben figured that comedy is the perfect way for venues to operate in a level two scenario. And, as we move into Level One, we can celebrate the return to 'funny business as usual', respecting our fellow Kiwi's but not having to shout at them from a distance.
The Classic has nailed a winning formula including hyper-hygiene protocols, contact tracing and social distancing and has amended those protocols at all levels according to Ministry of Health guidelines.
Ben’s “The Endless Summer Tour” was cut short by the Covid-19 crisis earlier this year, and it seemed like a perfect way to help the recovery by delivering laughs around the country. He kicked off at The Classic on May 29th and 30th with both shows sold out a week in advance. So, due to public demand, Ben is back on August 21st and 22nd for 2 nights only.
Of course, we all know Ben from his TV appearances, 7Days, The Project, The Comedy Gala and he’s won all of the awards, The Fred, The Billy T, NZCG Best Male and NZCG Best MC so he definitely has the chops, and the beard, to make a great show.
He’ll be having different local comics to warm things up at each centre, another way to help get the local comedy scene back on its feet.
