Boxwood returns to Rotorua with a global collaboration of renowned performers; traditional music of Ireland, Scotland and Maritime Canada. Join us for an early celebration of St. Patrick's Day with some fantastic dance tunes, airs and songs.

Chris Norman (CAN) - flutes, pipes, songs
Catherine McEvoy (IRE) - Irish flute & whistle
Rob Zielinski (AUS) - fiddle

Chris hails from Lunenburg County Nova Scotia and his influential work as performer, composer, recording artist, teacher and flute maker has earned him worldwide recognition. Winner of the TG 4 Musician of the Year 2019, Catherine stands out as one of the finest exponents of the North Connacht tradition of flute playing. Rob was a winner of Ireland’s prestigious Michael Coleman Traditional Fiddle Player of the Year Award, and he’s one of Australia’s leading players and makers of fine violins.
