The Cancer Society Waikato/Bay of Plenty is dedicated to reducing the incidence of cancer and ensuring the best cancer care for all New Zealanders.
They support people living with cancer, and their whanau, by providing a range of practical assistance and supportive care, like transport to treatment and one-on-one information and support from experienced supportive care nurses. They also fund vital research into the causes, detection and treatment of cancer, and deliver health promotion programmes in the community.
Join CEO Shelley Campbell, the Cancer Society team and special guest, former New Zealand Olympian Beatrice Faumuina to discuss how organisations can foster a culture of "giving back" to have a greater impact on their company, staff engagement and the community.
We will also take a behind the scenes look at how the team of staff and volunteers from Cancer Society Waikato Bay of Plenty are preparing to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Daffodil Day.
It will also be a great opportunity to meet and network with other local business women at this Business Women's Network (BWN) event.
