With the climate emergency the most serious crisis ever faced by humankind, we invite residents in the New Plymouth electorate to a pre-elections candidate debate on the best approach to addressing climate change. The evening will be co-sponsored by Climate Change & Consciousness Taranaki (CCCT) and Climate Justice Taranaki (CJT). NPDC councillor Anneka Carlson and Urs Signer from CJT will MC the event. The audience will have coloured cards to rate the candidates on their answers.
