Bruce Paine

New Zealand musician Bruce Paine presents a classical guitar recital video specially for New Zealand Music Month (May 2020) and beyond.

The programme was recorded during Covid-19 lock-down at the artist's home, opening with seven Catalan folk song arrangements by Miguel Llobet Solés. The remaining pieces - Dream Weaving, Circle Dance, Tarakihi and Waitemata Reverie - are all securely planted in New Zealand terra firma.

Viewer feedback...

"I watched your online concert. It was both technically and artistically superb. I listened on head phones, I thought the sound was vert clear and immediate."

"Thank you Bruce for that wonderful virtual concert. It came across really well on my good computer screen with earphones. Perhaps more this way from you in future?"

"It made a nice after-dinner concert this evening – thanks!"

"I set myself up with my laptop and some high quality Sennheiser headphones and found myself wondering why you would go to a live performance when you could listen this way without leaving the front door."
