This is not a race so no one need stress its just a chance to walk or run along with your family and friends get a bit messy and have a laugh while our team douses you with lots and lots of colour and water pistols.
At the start line we will fire our foam cannon machines at you to get you all soggy before you head off out onto the course where you will find each color station manned by happy humans who just want to make you all bright and colorful.
(Please note that we advise you wear any old white or light clothing for effect).
All entries will include a pair of snazzy sunglasses for eye protection and cool factor a colorful headband a packet of color powder to throw at the end and of course a finishers medal. Registration will be from 8.30am at the venue Horotutu Park central Paihia with a start time of 10am so plenty of time to come and grab your packs, you will also be able to collect your event goodies from Bay of Islands Information Corner Marsden Road and Williams Road Paihia Saturday the 29th February until Friday the 6th March.
Please bring a copy of your entry ticket with you to be scanned we are expecting big numbers so will try to push you all through as fast as we can. You will be given a wrist band to wear and asked to write your name on it so you can pop it into the spot prize box at the end.
Once you have your wristband glasses and headband you are done, no need to register again on the day just turn up.
We will have a small prize giving afterwards in the park with a brand new Samsung phone up for grabs for some lucky winner lots of other goodies and a special prize for the best dressed voted by you so make an effort. You will have plenty of time in the afternoon to hit Paihia’s amazing restaurants and cafes for lunch its going to be a fun fun day.
The event will be held rain hail or shine however in the case of a major emergency i.e tsunami warning strong dangerous winds or something called by our Safety team we will be forced to to cancel.
