Creating Community is a pop-up exhibition series by AUT design student Alyssa Tang, that invites members of the public to engage in meaningful discussion about what community means to them.

Alyssa Tang's research explores how designed objects – or critical artefacts – can evoke different lines of thinking and a different type of conversation to a written or spoken inquiry. As an intangible and evolving feeling, the community can be difficult to describe. The critical artefacts in this exhibition are designed to explore the value of community and what we consider to constitute a community.
