We won't have far to travel from Kapiti to enjoy lunch at the George Cafe at Speldhurst Country Estate. They have an extensive menu, so there's sure to be something to please you.
After lunch, award-winning Ohau Wines will host us for a leisurely wine-tasting session in their funky retro lounge. What's more, you'll take home a bottle of your choice from their Woven Stone range.
The price includes transport, lunch at The George Cafe (your choice of a main meal and a non alcoholic drink), wine-tasting at Ohau Wines, and a take-home bottle of wine from the Woven Stone range.
Pick up by arrangement from 11.00 a.m. with return from 3.30 p.m. from selected points in Paekakariki Village, Paraparaumu and Waikanae.
Accessibility: The trip is taken in a comfortable 12-seater mini-bus (which is not wheel-chair accessible). Assistance is offered for mounting and dismounting the vehicle. Walking frames can be safely stowed in transit. Please note that Ohau Wines has half a dozen internal steps to the tasting room.
