An update from Circa Theatre (15 August):

After last night’s announcement that we are remaining at Alert Level 2 we are sorry to say that the next two performances of Dungeoning and Dragoning (16 and 23 August) cannot go ahead as originally scheduled. This is due to the limited space in Circa Two for physical distancing. However, all tickets remain valid for NEW DATES of Sunday 6th and Sunday 13th September respectively! Box Office will be in touch with all patrons affected to confirm.

We are really hoping that the Dungeon Master rolls the dice in our favour and we can continue to see the season through to its completion from here on out.

All of us at Circa wish you the very best. Stay safe.

PRODUCERS Harriet Prebble & Gavin Rutherford
COMPANY Canvas Abyss

Proudly supported by Sketchgoblin and Toi Whakaari Set & Props

Starring: Allan Henry, Harriet Prebble, Gavin Rutherford, Gabriela Rocha & Ryan McIntyre as Dungeon Master
A live fantasy adventure guided by fate.

Dungeoning and Dragoning takes the beloved basement tabletop role-playing game and turns it into a spectator sport, where improvised theatre meets collaborative storytelling meets your geekiest dreams come true.

Watch the mighty Dungeon Master lead a ragtag party of Wellington’s best performers through a fantastical adventure as they weave rich stories, make new allies and vanquish old enemies… but only if the dice allow.

Drop in for a single night or follow the crew through their six-part adventure. Frequently hilarious, sometimes moving and always unpredictable, this is spontaneous, unscripted theatre controlled entirely by chance.
