Emotional Intelligence For Leaders: A Virtual Workshop

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the Australasian Leadership Institute has converted many of its popular workshops into condensed bite-sized virtual workshops

Only $90 per person

The most successful Leaders have emotional Intelligence, they are able to fully understand how the mind influences the behaviours of the team and themselves.

Who should attend:
The workshop is ideal for new and emerging leaders as well as individuals who have been identified as having high potential

What to expect:
This workshop comes in 3 stages
Stage 1: Strategy session via phone (15 minutes)
The facilitator will call you in order to get a better understanding of your requirements which will allow the contents of the workshop to be customised to suit your needs

Stage 2: Virtual workshop via Skype or Zoom (2 hours)
During the workshop you will learn:
- The importance of Emotional Intelligence
- How the Mind works
- Why people are different
- An awareness of subconscious bias
- How to deal with difficult people

Stage 3: Individual coaching session via phone/videoconference (45 minutes)
A month after the workshop you will have a 1-on-1 coaching session with a Leadership expert. This will allow you to better implement the learnings from the workshop as well as get answers about any questions about Leadership, motivation or mindset.

All participants will receive a certificate of attendance from the Australasian Leadership Institute

About the facilitator
Mark Wager is the Chief Leadership Coach at the Australasian Leadership Institute. Originally from the United Kingdom but now calling New Zealand his home, Mark shows leaders across the Asia Pacific region how to influence, motivate and inspire their teams. Driven by the frustration of attending many ineffective workshops during his 30-year managerial career Mark has made his passion in life to redefine how leaders are trained.
Mark takes advanced psychological theories and makes them accessible to the modern leader regardless of their background, experience or industry, by developing customised Leadership workshops and individual coaching sessions that combine practical real-life scenarios with a mixture of British wit. Mark dispels the myth that there are certain Leadership skills that can’t be learnt.

Leaders from some of New Zealand’s most prestigious organisations have been trained by Mark including Weta workshops, Amnesty International, Unicef, Barnardos, St Johns, NZ Red Cross, Kiwibank, Heartland Bank. NZ Basketball, Tennis NZ, NZ Hockey, NZ Netball, NZ Rugby League, NZ Soccer, Ministry of Justice, Department of Internal Affairs, NZ Defence Force, Outward Bound and many more.
