Eye Institute is thrilled to present its 16th Annual Optometry Conference in 2020. Come along and listen to all our surgeons present on the latest advancements in ophthalmology healthcare.
This year we are honoured to announce our guest speaker for this conference, Sir John Kirwan.
Sir John Kirwan (JK) is one of New Zealand’s favourite former All Blacks. He played for our national team for a decade and holds the New Zealand record for the most first-class rugby tries.
Since retiring from professional sport, he has opened up to New Zealand and shared his personal story of depression, resilience and hope. His journey has led him to an active involvement with mental health awareness campaigns in New Zealand where he speaks openly about his battle.
JK’s willingness to share his story and his dedication to this cause has gone a long way to removing the stigma that surrounds depression and mental illness in New Zealand.
Our theme for our annual conference this year is around positive health and wellness in the workplace, and at Eye Institute we strive to continuously work on a culture to improve and enhance the lives of our employees.
This is a conference you won’t want to miss out on, places are limited for this conference so be in quick.
