Felting Impact- Experience Both Needle Felting and Wet Felti

welcome to the felting world!
as a new felter you will get to experience both needle felting and wet felting in one class by making basic projects out of pure New Zealand wool! you will leave with 2 to 4 your very own creations and skills of felting!
Learn everything you need to know to begin needle felting, and the principles of both needle felting and wet felting! find out which is your favourite!
you will learn how to transform some colorful bits of wool fluff into beautiful pom poms! assorted colors will be provided! design and create your project, like pin, necklace, home decor, baby mobile, interior defuser, hair tie, hair clip, garland, in a relaxed and supportive environment.
I will also get lots of acorn caps for you to make your creations!
in the end of the class, you can add a string at the top to make it a home decor or a baby mobile! pure wool can remain fragrance, so it can become an interior defuser with a couple of your favourite perfume, hang it in your house or your vehicle! or simply make it into a pin or a necklace to wear it home yourself, give one as a gift, or make one together as a family!

felting is time consuming, however, it's addictive and therapeutic as well! easy to pick up, but hard to get your hands off!

No experience is necessary. All materials and tools are included. you will leave with your one of a kind wool felted project and the skills to continue felting at home.

please note: this workshop is not suitable for children, as we will use very sharp tools.

venue: the Maker Workshop at the Arts Centre, located in the School of Art building, on the corner of Rolleston Ave and Hereford St.

booking：Bookings are essential, non-refundable, but you can transfer to other people if you are not able to come. in order to have the best experience, limited spots are available. we also need the minimum participants to run the class. sadly, the class will have to be canceled if there are not enough participants, and you will get your fully refund one day before the event.
