Fine Signs Crazyman

Established in 1991, the Fine Signs Crazyman is one of NZ's longest running multisport events. Based around the icon outdoor elements of Wellington's Hutt City this 56k scenic tour showcases the hills, beaches, harbour and river that make our Capital the outdoor wonderland that it is.

Attracting around 400 entrants every year, the event celebrates it's 30th anniversary in 2020. Participants enter as individuals or teams in either the full multisport format (13k Kayak, 30k Mountain Bike, 13k Trail Run) or as duathletes (mountain bike/run). Past winners have included world champions such as Steve Gurney, Jill Westenra, Kristina Anglem, Gordon Walker, Emily Miazga, Dougal Allen, Jess Simson and legendary husband and wife duo Richard and Elina Ussher.

But first and foremost "The Crazyman" is a community event embracing all ages, abilities and backgrounds. In short, you'd be "crazy not to" contemplate the Crazyman... it's a "Hell of an event"!
