At Wildlife Foxton Trust we have the vision of 'Education by Example'. To learn about some of our forgotten fauna (animals) of skinks, gecko and fish we provide up close experiences of some of our more common NZ gecko's and native fish on display. To also support this learning we provide hands-on opportunities with exotic lizards so children can understand the impact that introduced species have on our native fauna and their habitats.
The tour lasts approximately 1/2 an hour and run twice a day on listed days. For tours outside of these times may be booked but are subject to availability of volunteers and a minimum charge.
Cash only - no eftpos.
Please note that Google shows us further north or at 48 Harbour Street but entrance is in the Auto Marine Centre, at the south end of Main Street, Foxton.
